Creative Philosophy

"I explore design through a framework of community, curiosity and empathy. My love for music, written word, and ephemera are considered and ingrained in my practice, through an overlapping approach between analog and digital modes of image-making"

Panorama Hues

"Panorama Hues" reflected moments of happiness and vulnerability, which defined the nostalgia of the Coronavirus Pandemic season.

This publication was developed as both a cathartic release and an embrace of joy, despite the intense looming weight of this moment in history as it was unraveling in real time. The pillowy fabric binding gives the book a comforting presence when held physically. It is also fully washable, reflecting the resilience that we exhibited in pushing through the experience of mass isolation and unpredictability.

To All My Brand New Friends

"To All My Brand New Friends," is an homage to the New York DIY music scene. This publication is a greater reflection on why DIY spaces are so important as hubs for community building, brewing culture, and enabling self discovery/actualization for individuals. This book also platforms a discussion on how gentrification is a threat to underground culture, furthering cultural suppression in our society.

DIY spaces platform liberation and expression beyond the conventions of wealth and mainstream trends. The raw binding of the book echoes their essence, as raw and uninhibited environments to thrive in uniqueness. These underground communities are a melting pot of inspired, curious, and diverse people and their spaces deserve to be protected. DIY forever.

Auditory Dissolution

This book is focused on explaining different sound effects in a novice-friendly way. I was inspired to do this as someone who loves music and wanted to understand it more deeply on a technical level.
A different sound effect is depicted on each page and fleshed out through the result of my research and analysis.

Additional features include hand-drawn illustrations of different effect pedals, capable of producing a variety of the spotlighted sound effects. There are also QR codes which add a layer of interactivity to the experience; unlocking song recommendations or other auditory examples.
